(EN) Hatha yoga is one of the ways of yoga that is practiced to control the body, breath and mind. The open-level class includes pranayama (breathing exercises), Sun salutations (Surya Namaskar), asanas (postures) and deep relaxation. Asanas or yoga postures, are much more than stretching positions. They open the body’s energy channels and cakras (energy or psychic centers) while increasing the flexibility of the spine, strengthening bones and stimulating the circulatory and immune systems. In addition to proper breathing or pranayama, asanas also calm the mind and reduce stress. Regular practice can ensure overall physical and mental health and possible prevention of diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure and arthritis.
Vinyasa yoga is a dynamique practice that that is based on asanas, alignment and controlled breathing by moving in “vinyasa flow”. You will strengthen the core and improve flexibilty and balance by opening the body energy channeles. The postures are linked by the dynamic sequence will improve your focus and mental health.
Meridian yoga is a yoga method that utilizes the yoga postures to stimulate meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine for releasing stress, muscle tension and joint pain. Meridian system is a complex system because it also brings awarness to emotions and body energies. By focusing on specific physical and emotinal concerns we mobilize Qi energy or remove energy blockages (pain=energy blockage).
There are 12 main meridians in TCM which are connected to inner organs and closly linked to connective tissues. When practicing asanas and breathing deeply we are stimulating connective tissues and by that meridians, inner organs and releasing excess emotions and stress. Practice includes sun salutations, breathing exercices and asana practice – based on the anlyses of students’s acute and chronical pain issues, the emotional state linked to their lifestyles and habits.
